The One Acre Fund coaching program was provided as a professional development tool to help staff improve on their performance and identify and to achieve their professional career goals.

One Acre Fund, based in Rwanda, is a non-profit social enterprise that supplies financing and training to help smallholder farmers grow their way out of hunger and build lasting pathways to prosperity.

The leadership of One Acre heard about the ICF Pro Bono Coaching initiative in which ICF-Credentialed members offer pro bono coaching to organizations whose front-line staff are affected by COVID-19. This was in partnership with Soar.com, whose platform was offered to ICF Coaches to publish their coaching profiles. Sam Tsima is one coach who volunteered to participate in the project.

The One Acre Fund is making a huge impact on the lives of so many people in Africa through the programs they offer to smallholder farmers.
