What is Ignite?

The ICF Foundation envisions a world in which coaching accelerates and amplifies positive impact on humanity and the planet. The Ignite Initiative supports this mission using the collective power of ICF chapters, members and credential-holders.

Imagine One ICF connected through the positive impact of coaching. The spark of light to ignite humanity! When we share the power of coaching with our world, we have the power to ignite our local communities and spark a global impact.

The ICF Foundation defines social impact as ” the measurable positive outcome of a specific intervention – such as coaching – on the wellbeing & development of society as a whole aimed at addressing social challenges & promoting social systemic change”

Through pro bono coaching projects, the Ignite Initiative uses the collective power of ICF chapters, members and credential holders to accelerate the United Nations Global Goals.
