Coach Scholarship Program

Ensuring coaching is made available to underrepresented populations.

Vision

To ensure that coaching is made available to underrepresented populations, and to increase focus on diversity, equity, and inclusion, the ICF Foundation will partner with ICF Coaching Education and accredited educational organizations to offer scholarships for individual coaching education opportunities in the ICF Africa region and ICF North America urban areas.

Promoting access to coaching education in the ICF Africa and North America membership regions.

According to the ICF/AFAMCO Sub Saharan Africa Marketing Assessment, strong economic and social growth continuing across Sub-Saharan Africa provides opportunities for professional coaching for organizations, business development and individuals. Awareness of the benefits of professional coaching services is growing; and so is demand for such services.

In North America, there is an opportunity to contribute to diversity, equity, inclusion, and justice efforts by offering access to coaching education to under-represented groups.

As part of its mission, the ICF Foundation aims to offer coach education that is culturally relevant and that aligns with the United Nations 2030 Agenda.
