Coaching for a Better Tomorrow

On December 2, 2025, the ICF Foundation will join the global movement of #GivingTuesday, a day that celebrates generosity, community, and collective impact. Much like #GivingTuesday, our mission goes beyond financial giving. It’s about fueling transformation and creating sustainable, positive change around the world for generations to come.

At the ICF Foundation, we believe in the power of coaching to create lasting social impact. Through initiatives like Ignite, Special Projects, and scholarship opportunities, we connect professional coaches with organizations working to make the world a better place.

One example of the ripple effect coaching has can be seen in our Ignite Initiative collaboration with Dress for Success Seattle. By introducing coaching to their team, staff members gained confidence, refined their communication skills, and developed new strategies for supporting clients. This partnership didn’t just strengthen service delivery, it deepened connections, improved outcomes, and fostered personal and professional growth at every level.

This is the power of coaching.

The ICF Chapter Challenge: A Friendly Competition for Global Good OR Rally Your Chapter for GivingTuesday Impact

The 2025 ICF Chapter Challenge will run from November 15 until December 15. This challenge is an annual opportunity for ICF Chapters and members to donate to the ICF Foundation as a part of GivingTuesday for the chance to be recognized as the #GivingTuesday Top Contributing ICF Chapter.

The Top Contributing ICF Chapter in the small, medium, and large membership categories will receive a social media shoutout, listing on the ICF Foundation’s website, and a digital badge that can be displayed on the chapters email signatures, website, and social media.

Chapter leaders, find sample posts, graphics, and an email template to help your chapter engage in the Chapter Challenge and #GivingTuesday via the Chapter Leader GivingTuesday Toolkit.

This is your chance not only to make a substantial difference and promote the impact of our coaching profession in the world, but also to receive well-deserved recognition for your chapter’s exceptional efforts!

Every gift creates meaningful impact.

“[I give to the ICF Foundation] because I want to support the ICF Foundation in its goals, social and systemic change and societal transformation on the background of the UN’s 17 Sustainable Development Goals. It is also important to me to research and demonstrate that coaching has a sustainable impact in this social transformation process.”
