The ICF Foundation is now accepting applications for its 2027 Board of Trustees, inviting passionate ICF Members from across the global community to help shape the future of social impact through coaching.
Three board vacancies will open on January 1, 2027, and the Foundation is seeking individuals who are committed to advancing meaningful change, strengthening communities, and expanding access to coaching worldwide.
Serving on the Board of Trustees is an opportunity to contribute strategic leadership, advocate for the power of coaching, and help guide initiatives that support the Foundation’s mission of accelerating and amplifying social impact.
Who the Foundation Is Seeking
Ideal candidates are collaborative, forward-thinking leaders who:
- Believe in the transformative power of coaching.
- Support the mission and vision of the ICF Foundation and International Coaching Federation.
- Bring strategic insight, leadership experience, and a global perspective.
- Are passionate about advancing the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals through coaching.
- Can serve as ambassadors and advocates for the Foundation’s work.
The Foundation welcomes candidates with diverse professional and lived experiences who are eager to contribute their time, expertise, and passion to advancing positive social change.
Why Serve?
Trustees play an active role in helping the Foundation grow its impact around the world. Responsibilities include participating in Board meetings and strategic planning discussions, representing the Foundation at events and initiatives, and supporting awareness and fundraising efforts that further the organization’s mission.
Board members serve two-year terms, with the opportunity for re-election for up to two consecutive terms.
