Coaching conversation

Partnered Anti-Racism & Equity and HR teams to provide coaching to staff who were both laid off due to COVID-19 constraints.

Good Shepherd Services (GSS) instituted a Pro Bono Career Coaching Initiative to provide both laid-off and remaining staff with the necessary tools to unlock their potential while opening up the opportunity to receive coaching during these Volatile, Uncertain, Complex, and Ambiguous (V.U.C.A.) times. Spearheaded by Executive Director Michelle Yanche and Assistant Director of Leadership Development Kali Mincy, the coaching period ran from July 7-August 31. During that time, I provided a total of 12 hours of pro bono coaching to four employees–all in support of the Anit-Racism & Equity and Human Resources initiative to help laid-off and remaining staff through career transitions. It was an uplifting and invigorating experience that reminded me of why I became a coach in the first place.
